My What Next Beta Terms
Effective date: 1 September 2026
About these Terms
These Beta Terms apply when you create an account for or use the My What Next closed beta.
My What Next is operated by BSA Corp Pty Ltd (ABN 22 680 726 327), referred to in these Terms as “BSA”, “My What Next”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
By accepting these Terms, you agree to follow them while using the beta. You should also read our:
If you do not agree, do not create or use a My What Next account.
Who may use the beta
The closed beta is available only to people who:
- are at least 18 years old;
- ordinarily reside in Australia;
- have been approved for beta access;
- create and use their own verified account; and
- accept these Terms, the Privacy Notice and the AI Disclosure.
Beta access is personal and cannot be sold, shared or transferred to another person.
If you do not meet these conditions, we may refuse, restrict or suspend your access.
The closed beta is free
There is no charge to participate in the current closed beta.
Free beta access does not mean that My What Next, or any future version of it, will always be free. We will not introduce charges for your existing beta access without clearly telling you first and obtaining any agreement required by law.
What My What Next provides
My What Next provides career-guidance and interview-practice experiences, including Guided Sessions and Simulations.
The service is designed to help you reflect, prepare and practise. It is not:
- a recruitment or employment agency;
- a promise that you will obtain an interview, job, promotion or other outcome; or
- a replacement for your own judgement or appropriately qualified professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing information and outputs before relying on, sharing or acting on them.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure.
You must not allow another person to use your account. Please contact beta@my-what-next.com promptly if you believe your account or sign-in details have been accessed without permission.
We use email verification as part of account creation.
Responsible use
You must use My What Next lawfully and for its intended career-guidance and interview-practice purposes.
You must not:
- interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the service;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, system or data;
- introduce malicious code or harmful material;
- use the service to harass, deceive or harm another person;
- use automated methods to extract or copy the service without our permission;
- misrepresent AI-generated or practice content as an authentic statement made by another person; or
- use My What Next in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
You must only provide content that you are entitled to use. Take care before including confidential, commercially sensitive or personal information about employers, colleagues, interviewers or other people.
Your content
You retain ownership of the résumés, career history, opportunity information, interview-practice content, feedback and other material you provide to My What Next.
You give BSA a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the beta to you;
- maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service;
- respond to support requests;
- meet legal obligations; and
- evaluate and improve the My What Next experience.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to BSA.
We will not publish your private content, identify you publicly or use your name or quotations in publicity without separate, explicit permission.
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled and how long different kinds of information may be retained.
Sessions and Career Memory
My What Next may present a summary when you complete a Guided Session or Simulation.
You may choose to:
- save the session summary; or
- finish without saving it.
Unfinished session information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.
Information is not added to Career Memory merely because it appears in a session. Career Memory proposals require your review and approval before they are saved as Career Memory.
Real Interview information is only saved when you deliberately submit it through the relevant experience.
Artificial intelligence
My What Next uses artificial intelligence to help provide guidance, prompts, summaries and practice responses.
AI-generated content may:
- be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances;
- reflect limitations in the information you provide;
- vary when similar questions are asked; and
- be similar to content generated for another customer.
You must review AI-generated content before relying on or sharing it. My What Next does not guarantee that an AI-generated response is correct, complete or unique.
Our AI Disclosure explains where AI is used, the current AI provider and the important limitations customers should understand.
My What Next materials
BSA owns or licenses the My What Next service, branding, designs, software, guidance structure and other materials supplied through the service, excluding your content.
While you remain eligible for the beta, BSA gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the beta for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Beta feedback
You may voluntarily provide feedback about the beta.
You allow BSA to use that feedback to evaluate and improve My What Next without payment or other obligation to you.
We will not publicly identify you or attribute feedback or quotations to you without separate permission.
Beta availability and changes
The beta is still being developed. Features may be incomplete, change or occasionally be unavailable.
We may change, pause or end part or all of the beta. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice.
We may act without advance notice where reasonably necessary to:
- address a security risk;
- comply with law;
- prevent misuse or harm; or
- protect customers, BSA or the service.
We do not promise that the beta will operate continuously or without errors.
Suspending or ending access
You may stop using the beta at any time and may ask us to close your account by contacting beta@my-what-next.com.
We may restrict, suspend or end access if:
- you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms;
- you no longer meet the beta eligibility conditions;
- your use creates a material security or legal risk;
- suspension is reasonably necessary to prevent misuse or harm; or
- the beta is paused or ended.
Where reasonable and safe, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to contact us.
Closing or suspending an account does not remove your privacy, deletion or other rights under applicable law. Information remaining after account closure will be handled under the Privacy Notice and applicable law.
Australian Consumer Law and beta limitations
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to those rights:
- My What Next is provided as a developing beta service;
- we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation;
- career and interview outputs are guidance and practice materials, not guaranteed outcomes; and
- you are responsible for reasonably reviewing outputs before acting on them.
To the extent permitted by law, BSA is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by your unlawful use, misuse or failure to reasonably review an output before relying on it.
Changes to these Terms
We may make minor administrative, formatting or clarifying changes to these Terms and will make the updated version available to you.
If a change materially affects your rights or responsibilities, we will give you clear notice and ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the beta.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You and BSA submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
This section does not remove any right or protection that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
